Antique Power Photo Contest 2023
/For this first year of the Antique Power Photo Contest, we will keep it simple and have a general theme. Just as we do in Antique Power, we welcome photos of your own taking of any antique or classic internal combustion tractor from the early 1900s to the early 1980s. The tractor model and background can be of your choosing. The tractor can be posed in the field, in front of a historical barn or structure, or in a picturesque setting. Remember to highlight the tractor so that it stands out from whatever background setting you choose. We really want you to show off your tractors!
We hope this will be a successful beginning to an annual event, so please keep future years in mind when taking photos of tractors throughout this year and going forward. You can photograph seasonal and other themes. If the interest is high, we will develop interesting themes for our Photo Contests in future years.
How do you participate in Antique Power’s 2023 Photo Contest?
Take several clear photos with your camera (or smartphone) set on its highest resolution. The locations can be anywhere you like, but try to choose an interesting setting so your tractor stands out. Pick out the best photo and send it to us through one of the following methods:
• an easy upload page we built for you (NOW CLOSED)
• by regular mail to Antique Power Magazine, P.O. Box 838, Yellow Springs, OH 45387
The deadline for sending in photos will be Sept. 30, 2023. That will allow us to have them judged and ready to place in the January/February 2024 issue of Antique Power.
Yes, there will be prizes!
The Grand Prize winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to be used for books and merchandise for our Gift Shop. Second and third place selections will each receive a $25 gift certificate for our Gift Shop.
All others will be eligible to have their photos used by Antique Power in our future issues in our regular magazine departments, such as Tractor Show. We will also place them on our social media platforms.
Please use the accompanying form when submitting photos. Give us all your details with your name, full address, and other contact information. Also, be sure to give the details on the make, model, and year of the tractor. Feel free to include a 50- to 100-word account about your tractor.
