Dale Cook is a fourth-generation Ontario farmer with a friendly personality, easy laugh, and humble demeanor, although he owns a tractor that could make other collectors envious. Cook’s 1969 Allis-Chalmers Mfg. Co. Model Two-Twenty is a fine example of this rather rare model, but its low serial no. of 1026 makes it even more special. Between 1969 and 1972, beginning with serial no. 1004, the A-C factory in West Allis, Wisconsin, produced 1,765 two-wheel-drive units like Cook’s, plus 100 with front-wheel assist beginning in June 1970.
