Hello, and WELCOME!

Postby APAdmin » Tue Sep 26, 2006 10:41 am

Welcome to Antique Power magazine's new, improved web site and message board. As you can see, we have expanded the message board to include separate forums for many makes of tractors. While we have tried to anticipate your needs, we are always ready to respond to suggestions about how we can improve the site and the boards. To that end, we have a thread dedicated to suggestions. Please feel free to tell us what you need. Thank you for visiting!

Good to see new forum, finally!

Hi, glad it's finally up. It's much like many forums I'm on elsewhere, so easy to use, I hope. Is there Moderators? What about a For sale forum? Can we post here for that? :?

Greetings! :)
Just got my Jan/Feb AP and saw Pat's Letter From The Editor mentioning this forum. Looks interesting and I hope it does well and becomes very active.
All the best,
Rick.

Hey Pat, good to see the new board is up and running. I missed the old one, and haven't check back until I saw in the magazine that you had a new one going, looks great.
You'll have to come up this way and shovel some corn for me again, lets see, if I remember right you just watched, it has been a long time.

That's what happens to you guys who restore these tractors. You spend so much time breathing paint fumes your memories get all foggy.
As I recall it, I showed an interested in how that grinder with the hydraulic auger motors worked, and that was my mistake. "See Pat, you shovel the corn in here and it comes out there - yeah, that's right, try again, you'll get the hang of it." I've shoveled enough corn in my life that I didn't need lessons in shoveling, but you had me heaving corn until I'd about emptied the wagon. "NO! Don't stop now, you'll burn up them motors - they're delicate! Keep shoveling!" Carol made a good dinner though, so it was worth it. That's how I remember it, anyway.

Nice Site

Postby amberking » Fri Jul 27, 2007 8:38 pm

Hello! Just wanted to say this is a nice site for tractor lovers! My family collects MM's and my great grandpa was featured in a story in November of 1990, called "Down the Track". My copy has been put away so I can show it to my boys one day. :) Again, nice site!
